ISNHS INTRAMURALS 2014

         

Month of September, the Intramurals was held inside the school campus of ISNHS every year. It is here wherein the athletes had their competition to the different kinds of sports they want to play. Either the male or female athletes joined in the games. Their skills in such kind of games were developed as well as their sportsmanship.

During the games, most of the students cheered and yelled very loud as a way of supporting their classmates who are athletes. Some of them offered water to their players to drink. Still, all and all their booth with different kinds of games performed as such the wedding booth, horror booth, photo booth and most likely the food booth.

The said activity postponed the following day due to typhoon Mario that landed to the province of Ilocos Sur; however, it was resumed on September 25 and 26, 2014.

My Teacher, My Hero

Heroes are not like real superheroes, a hero who could fly, a hero who could hold a car using their forefinger, a hero not even fighting villains for saving the world. So, heroes are the one who strengthen you, the one who are at your side, the one can help you and the one who still behind you whenever you're down because they are there to lift you up. 

In life, people may come and go, some will be remembered, some will be forgotten, some are blessings and some are lessons. But one thing I am sure, you can never forget the persons who you can also call as our second parents are our TEACHERS. When we’re talking about our teachers, all of us are glad to thank them especially when you have learned a lot from them. But we can never regret that sometimes we hate them because they are giving us a lot of homework and projects which are so difficult for us to do, right? Well, it’s part of being a student. We students sometimes don’t appreciate out teachers. Well, I could not realize that teachers are great. They are really great, wonderful, extraordinary and awesome. They teach us in all ways, guide us through different challenges. Their patience is so unbelievable, for us students even though are so naughty act so childishly, they still forgive us. They also act like our light when were on the darkness. They teach us very well and give us enough knowledge about things we don’t know. We students must love and respect our teachers even when we hate them so much, we can never regret that their part of our life already and they are part of our family. So we must show respect and love to them. They were part of our story in life.

Thank you for all my teachers for being my hero in life, who save us in any circumstances that we may step on. This will help us for our success. God bless. I hope that your love on us will not last. 

My Modern Hero

A Father with Christ

“Hero” a word that is very usual for us to hear. That wherever place we go, we can still encounter this word. One reason is that you can found heroes in every place. We call them heroes because they did something that is very important, extraordinary, unexpected, very intelligent and unusual for others to do, for the sake of their fellows. For they think the betterment and goodness of others because they are selfless. That’s why some people praise them. How about you, do you have your own hero?

For me, yes. I have my own hero. I consider him as my hero even if he is not one of a kind, but he is doing those things for the sake of us with God. He is different from the other man. Even though sometimes, I was scolded by him for my bad attitudes. I still love him and consider him as my hero it is because he is selfless. He is always there for me. Since the day my life was given to me until now that I am already in the process of achieving my goals, he is still behind me. Helping me whenever I need someone to turn to, curing me whenever I am not feeling well and guiding me in all of my decisions that I make. His role a husband, a pastor, a fireman and the one who budgets the salary but also a teacher- for he is the first teacher I encountered that helped me mould my abilities. A soldier because he is there whenever someone quarrel me and a doctor that always think for my health. He is also my inspiration in achieving my goals. His sacrifices, that even if he will not take his food just to attend and response to me and my sisters, he will. He is also the one that gives me motivation to continue what I have started, to stand on the decisions I make and to be brave in facing all the challenges and obstacles in my way to success.

He is a true hero for me, most precious gift given to me and to my family by our dear Lord. Hero because of the things that is very important, very intelligent, amazing and unusual to other man that he did and still doing to us. A selfless, a considerate and a loving husband to us and a responsible father to me and also to sisters and in church.

Wika ng pagkakaisa

WIKA NG PAGKAKAISA

          "Ang hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika ay higit pa sa malansang isda, " isa ito sa mga katagang iniwan ni Gat Jose Rizal sa atin.
          Nakasanayan na natin na tuwing sumasapit ang buwan ng Agosto ay ipinagdiriwang natin ang Buwan ng Wika. Ang tema ng Buwan ng Wika ngayon ay,"Wika ng Pagkakaisa." Ipinapahiwatig nito na gamitin natin ang ating sariling wika sa pagbabayanihan. Magtulungan tayo gamit ito para magkaintindihan. Huwag nating tangkilikin ang mga banyagang salita. Nasaang sulok ka man ng mundo, dapat marunong kang lumingon sa iyong pinanggalingan. Dapat may pagkakaisa. Ipahayag na ang ating wika ay mas matibay kaysa wikang banyaga.          Ang Pinakaimportante ay ang pagmamalaki na ikaw ay Pilipino. Mahalin at gamitin ang sariling atin, lalo na ang ating sariling wika, wikang Filipino.

Reflection

Students like me must have learned and discover about computers. I'm now a 4th year student and I have so many experiences about this subject. Through this, I can learn many things, articles, news about technologies and I can use this to shine or expose my own knowledge.

            I have encountered many problems and challenges in this subject.  At first, before we entered to the computer room, I was excited to our new topics in this school year. For me, it's not merely about being able to do all the activities that our teacher has assigned us to do. But it's all about discovering. This is all about enriching our knowledge. It is enjoyable. In our First grading in ICT left us remarks which we can enjoy. There are some activities that I am hard up to do. But for me it’s fun in making blogs. In this grading period, we tackled many lessons that are added to our mind. But the main topic in our ICT IV is all about in the field of internet or web. There are so many lessons that I’ve learned in first grading period like some people or pioneers behind the success of internet. And I also learned about the development of Internet. But the most interesting topic is all about Blogs, because since I’m elementary student, I didn’t used internet. With the helped of our teacher, Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz, we finished all the activities that she gave to us.            

                  There are some of our activities that our teacher needed a draft.it was hard for me to think topics, subject or ideas that I’ll be going to add to my draft. It’s really hard to make essays but it’s enjoyable. Our teacher told us to remember that blogs are journals or our personal online diary. In making blogs, student like me can easily find information. And remember all the things that we’ve learned from our teacher told us because it may help us in our future.

Sona

The 15^th President of Republic of the Philippines is Benigno (Ninoy) Simeon c. Aquino delivered his State of the Nation Address or we should call it SONA.

            Victory comes with a good leader who had the quantities to lead or manage the country to get up. In this present of our country, there are many crises attack when people are affected and suffered. There are lots or many of problems rise such as the devastation brought by the Typhoon Yolanda in our country. There were many lives and properties destroyed because of this said typhoon. Then the PDAF popped, where many senators and congressman who were involved in this issue, especially Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, Sen. Bong Revilla and Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile. Then the number of crimes reported in our country is very high and this is very alarming to us. And there are also rational brown out occurring in our country. Does he really had a shortage of power or they are just doing this for their intention to increase the businessmen’s profit? Lastly, the Dap where President Benigno S. Aquino was involved, are they using the DAP for good of just for their self Interest?

              In the SONA of our dearest President, he has a topic all about DAP. He say to give a man to fish and you feed him for a time. A man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. There is an example of this and it is the Technical Disbursement Acceleration Program contributed 1.6 Billion Pesos to TESDA’s Training for work Scholarship. These amounts the graduations of 223,615 beneficiaries 66% of there are now have jobs. As for the remaining 34%, TESDA is helping them find employment.

"Kalamidad Paghandaan; Gutom at Malnutrisyon Agapan"

              Many people do not realize the importance of good health, and even if they do, they may still disregard it. Whether we work at home or in an office, we need good health in order to perform our duties well. When people talk about health, they usually refer to the condition of the body. However, health does not merely mean being free from physical pain or the symptoms of disease. The mind is of crucial consideration in the overall assessment of well being. They must eat the right food and they will never forget it when there is a bad climate coming to our country.
             Here in the Philippines, we are celebrating the nutrition month celebration in the month of July. The theme will help us that we must be alert if there is some floods, typhoons, hurricanes, earthquakes and etc. In every strong disaster, people needs help on where they can find their own way to survive. they are finding food, shelter, clothes and the things and tools that they need in this disaster journey. They need us to have that things. Disaster can destroy their health and every thing that they have.
              This, we must be prepared everything, specially the food. We need it for our everyday life. We need to eat the right food everyday. Just to avoid starving and malnutrition. We must protect our health in every dangerous climate that coming. Wee must Prepare all things that we need. Be alert!
